Account and authentication. If you create an account or sign in, our authentication provider (for example, Supabase) processes credentials and profile details such as email address and sign-in method. We may store a minimal user record in our database to enable features like syncing saved places.
Saved places. If you are signed in, cities you save may be stored in our database and associated with your account. If you are not signed in, favorites may be stored only in your browser (for example, using local storage) and are not sent to us.
Feedback. If you use our feedback form, we collect the content you submit and any optional name or email you provide so we can respond or improve the Service.
Usage and diagnostics. We may collect technical and usage information such as approximate location derived from IP (for security or analytics), browser type, device type, pages viewed, and interactions. This may include data collected through cookies, similar technologies, and our own analytics endpoints.
Third-party analytics. We use Google Analytics (or similar services) to understand aggregate traffic and product usage. Those providers process data under their own policies.

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Account-related data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Feedback and logs may be retained for operations, security, and legal compliance.
