プライバシーポリシー
This Privacy Policy describes how Tripuppy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our website and related services (collectively, the “Service”) at tripuppy.com. By using the Service, you agree to this policy alongside our 利用規約.
1. What we collect
We collect information in the following situations:
- Account and authentication. If you create an account or sign in, our authentication provider (for example, Supabase) processes credentials and profile details such as email address and sign-in method. We may store a minimal user record in our database to enable features like syncing saved places.
- Saved places. If you are signed in, cities you save may be stored in our database and associated with your account. If you are not signed in, favorites may be stored only in your browser (for example, using local storage) and are not sent to us.
- Feedback. If you use our feedback form, we collect the content you submit and any optional name or email you provide so we can respond or improve the Service.
- Usage and diagnostics. We may collect technical and usage information such as approximate location derived from IP (for security or analytics), browser type, device type, pages viewed, and interactions. This may include data collected through cookies, similar technologies, and our own analytics endpoints.
- Third-party analytics. We use Google Analytics (or similar services) to understand aggregate traffic and product usage. Those providers process data under their own policies.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service (including maps, city content, and account features);
- Authenticate users and sync preferences across devices when you choose to sign in;
- Respond to feedback and support requests;
- Monitor performance, secure the Service, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations;
- Understand how the Service is used in aggregate to guide product decisions.
3. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your region, we may rely on contractual necessity (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (such as security and improvement, balanced against your rights), or consent (for example, where required for certain cookies or marketing). You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, subject to limitations.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with:
- Service providers that host the Service, provide authentication, databases, email delivery (for example, feedback replies), analytics, or infrastructure;
- Sign-in providers you choose (such as Google or GitHub), according to your settings and their policies;
- Professional advisers or authorities when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Map imagery may be provided by third-party map providers (for example, tiles and attribution shown in the map UI). Those providers may receive requests that include approximate map viewport or coordinates as part of loading tiles.
5. Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Account-related data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Feedback and logs may be retained for operations, security, and legal compliance.
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies. For account data, you may contact us as described below. You may also use industry opt-out tools for interest-based advertising where applicable.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact
For privacy-related questions or requests, you may reach us through the Feedback option available on the Service, or by contacting us at the administrative contact for the site at tripuppy.com.
